haven't always drunk wine growing up...

I only started drinking wine seriously when I lived in Europe for a gap year upon graduating college in 2014.

There I discovered varietals beyond your average Cab, the powers of terroir and wonders of a great vintage (2015!). After befriending people in the wine industry while WWOOFing in  Tuscany (you can find blog posts about my experience there), I have decided to work in the wine industry in the largest market in the world right now, Hong Kong.

I was briefly the administrator for the fine wine department at one of the world's top auction houses before transitioning to my current role in selling the best pinot juice made right now to clients around the world.

I'm not an indiscriminate wine snob and do believe that the pleasure is derived from sharing the bottle as opposed to using it as another asset class.

I have just completed my WSET level 3 and will sit for the exam in late January.

I also use wechat and weibo under the same name, @thisyoungwino.
